We'd highly recommend"
Sue & Tony, Towcester

Due to the scale of the project, my client decided to work in stages. We started by creating borders with structural planting at the far end of the garden so that they would have time to mature before the hard works commenced, and would not be impacted by any future works.

I have been gently guiding my clients about the importance of wildlife and how to nurture and care for the pollinators and other invertebrates that their new garden will inevitably attract.

Soil prep
Peat free soil based compost and organic matter were dug into the native soil in spring and the ground was sown with a green manure which served to protect the soil until it was ready to plant in autumn. The green manure here is Phacelia which is not only great for improving soil fertility, the flowers are also loved by bees.
